The Fiction Hydra LP tire features a low profile tread with a smooth center strip. Using the latest "SPARK" technology, an Electro Discharge Machined Traction System on the center strip provides unrivaled traction with low rolling resistance and makes these tires super squeaky. Fiction used two different file patterns on the edges for better traction at lean angles. The casing is optimized for the lower tire pressures preferred by street riders.
Nice....Spark tech in the center of the tire and two totally different tread patterns on the sidewalls..Perfect balance of grippy and smooth making them perfect for street, park and even dirt. These tires rival much of the more expensive tires. Also a cool Hydra/Dragon logo on the sidewall not often shown that's bad a$#! I'll be getting a few more pairs.
These tires sure give off a lot of speed when hill bombing. If you're a guy that likes to just bomb hills on his BMX bike, whilst being the rad trick guy he is, these are the tires for you. I do say though, careful of any loose dirt on the road. These tires are slick enough to give you road burn for a few days. Safe riding!
