BMX Headsets Bearings & Top Caps
A BMX Racing Headset provides smooth and accurate steering from the bars to the fork and down to the front wheel. Most race frames today are formed to allow for "Integrated Headsets" where the frame acts as the cup for the bearings. A "Standard Headset" requires cups that are pressed into the frames headset tube. A "Tapered" headset is needed when using a Tapered Fork where the lower bearing on the fork race is wider in diameter than the upper bearing. This is more common today on Pro Size or Carbon Fiber frames. Dan's also sells a variety of colors, replacement top caps, bolts and bearings including ceramic balls.BMX Racing Headsets
