We The People Envy Carbonic BMX Bike Description:

We The People took their pro-level complete bike, the Envy, and added carbon fiber rims to create one of the most progressive and eye-catching complete bikes in the game. The WTP Envy Carbonic bike takes the already revolutionary Éclat Seismic hubs and laced them up to the Éclat Carbonic rims, which are the first-ever freestyle BMX specific carbon rims. These are designed for riders looking for an extremely stiff and lightweight setup.

The bike is built around the full 4130 chromoly frame and is spec'd out with the highest-end components from WTP and Éclat, including the Éclat Storm XLT forks, Tibia cranks and the Mirage tires.

This is certainly a pro level bike and is the first of it's kind with the eye-catching carbon fiber rims. An all black bike has never looked so smooth.

Note: The bike is available in 20.5" and 21" top tube options as well as with a left or right hand drive set up. The other options can be found here.

We The People Envy Carbonic BMX Bike (21" Toptube) (Matte Black)
Here we are in 2026 and I have found myself as somewhat of a veteran of BMX as someone who rode BMX bikes since the 1980s having started with a terquoise GT performer circa 1987.

Flash forward to 2007 and I am a dad. Before too long my son started riding BMX so you know that pops had to get one too. I bought a 2007 Eastern Element from right here at Danscomp. Modded the heck out of that bike and changed out almost every part. Still have that bike, still love it.

Flash forward again to 2026 and now my grandson is getting into BMX. I once again found a bike for him but had to see what was new in BMX bikes after nearly 20 years of not paying them any attention.

Enter the WTP Envy Carbonic. I found that while I didn't need a new bike (because of the previously mentioned EE), I *wanted* something new and boy oh boy does the Carbonic deliver.

I went with the 21"TT and LHD because my old bike felt a bit small. This Carbonic feels *huge* by comparison. From my understanding, bars have been getting bigger and bigger over time and this bike is enormous vs what I was used to riding.

The LHD feels special because it seems that 99.9% of bikes are RHD so this option makes it feel more unique to what is normally seen.

The hub is LOUD and loud is good. Comparing my old EE cassette to my grandson's generic BMX freewheel, the loudness difference is very obvious. Take that same scale of comparison with the Carbonic to the EE and the same loudness difference is there. Point being that coasting in the Carbonic will get you noticed by your neighbors.

I am no trickster skate park rider at all. I am also not interested the more "grown up" multi-speed bicycles either. I see no need to start dressing up in spandex and looking like an alien with the low resistance helmets.

I bought this bike merely to enjoy riding a platform I have used my whole life. This joy I feel on BMX is now being passed on to my next-next generation as my grandson and I ride together to the park.

I am excited to have a new platform to build upon and even though this Carbonic is fully loaded, I have already replaced the chain with a shadow half link and will be swapping the rear cable brake to an Odyssey gyro system soon. I enjoy tinkering with various hobbies and now BMX is fully back on my radar.

The bike feels super light and responsive when riding and I could not be happier with my purchase!
