USA Brand Stainless 14g Spokes Description:

The USA Brand Stainless 14g Spokes are a high quality straight gauge spoke available in a wide variety of lengths. With a traditional J-bend head, these spokes are proven to be durable yet still light weight.

These spokes are sold in bags of 20. Many rear hubs require different lengths for the drive and non-drive sides, so you can purchase as needed. Bags of 20 provides a few extra for a traditional 36H wheel to hold on to incase you break spokes down the line.

Don't buy these. They are coated in a sticky oil. Washed them 3 times, still gross. And they are the wrong length!


At Dan's you pay more for black color, and more for a sticky glue coating. Never seen this before. Dan doesn't build or ride bikes, on obviously, or he'd notice these problematic sticky gross spokes.


And they literally aren't the correct length, since Dan sent me 14mm nipples that will snap off, instead of 12mm nipples that won't.

What the hell Dan? This isn't the 80s. People shouldn't have to put up with this incompetency crap. No one uses alloy nipples... Why? Because shops like Dan's have decided to sell parts that don't make a bit of sense.


14mm nipple + short spoke = broken nipple. This is a well known fact.


12mm + longer spokes = zero broken spokes. Everyone knows this except for incompetent bmx shops like Dan's..
