Specifications:

  • Color: Copper
  • Width: 1/8"
  • Total Links: 98
  • Weight: 11.2 oz (w/ 72 Links)
  • Extras: 2 Master Pins
  • Tool: Shadow Interlock Chain Breaker
  • Note:

    • Make sure chain is installed properly before riding. The curved part of the links should be riding on the sprocket and driver teeth. The wider end of the link should also be facing the direction of rotation when pedaling forward.
    • The TSC Interlock chain is wider than most 1/8" chains. It's not uncommon for the chain to ride more on the body for the driver instead of being fully supported by the teeth when new. This will smooth out over time.

The Shadow Conspiracy Interlock V2 Chain (Copper) (1/8")
The worst chain I have had the displeasure of owning and I've only had it for 2.5 ish months. To start, the chain is wider than typical 1/8 chains by a bit. I did not think much of it at the time of installation, but I think this is one of its flaws as it moves side to side on the chainring teeth very easily. For this reason, I think, the chain has become extremely loose in the side to side dimension. I can very easily pull and squish together the links in that sideways dimension with my fingers, but they do not come undone luckily. I am scared to really crank it down though because legs produce way more force than fingers. Also, the chain S T R E T C H E S (in the other orientation) like no other chain I have ever owned. Like a good lil pupper getting that after nap stretch locked in real long. I removed a link, thinking it was not a big deal. All chains stretch. But after removing a link to redial the tension, it just kept stretching! If you are an average sized male adult with average amount of power output in the legs, this chain is not for you. Throw it on a kids bike. Throw it on a bike you do not plan on riding. I fucking hate this chain lol. I feel so dumb for wasting my money on it.
