Sunday WaveLength Gary Young BMX Bike Description:
The Sunday Wavelength BMX Bike is Gary Young’s signature ride, built to handle high-speed lines and massive transitions with ease. Centered around the aftermarket Wavelength frame designed by Gary himself, this bike is stacked with top-tier components including the 41-Thermal Sunday Darkwave fork and Odyssey Superhighway bars. It rolls smooth on Odyssey’s Hazard Lite rims, laced to a Vandero Pro front hub and Antigram V2 Cassette in the rear—all wrapped in grippy Aitken tires. Loaded with aftermarket parts throughout, the Wavelength delivers pro-level performance at a price that beats building it piece by piece.

Note: To ensure that every component on your bicycle is working properly, Dan's Comp recommends that all bikes be assembled by a qualified mechanic. Improper assembly of your bicycle may lead to premature wear or failure of individual components such as headsets, crank assembly and wheels. Failure to do so may void the manufacturer warranty.

Bought this bike specifically to go fast. Went to throw on my 30t sprocket and the crank bolts were completely stuck. Bent a craftsman 8mm Allen using a breaker bar trying to get them loose… emailed Dans asking what to do and they left me hanging for 4 days. Finally got back to me and told me to take it to a bike shop to get it sorted out. For real? You guys send this bike to me like that and then tell me to figure it out.
For the record the crank bolts had no grease on the threads at all and one of the heads is warped. So now I’m trying to find a new set of bolts and shaft for my brand new bike Cuz some dude decided to toque these to the moon with no grease.
Hope you have better luck than me.
Update: Dans reached out and got me all taken care of. (thanks Trez!) Would have been 5 stars if the bike was QCed/Pre-Assembled correctly like all the Dans marketing said it would be. Totally sucked to be staring at a brand new bike I can't ride for 2 weeks, but stuff happens I guess. Bike otherwise is top notch. Going from my Kink Whip to this I was afraid I would not notice enough difference to justify the 3x cost increase, but it's totally there. If you got the funds and ready to level up, you won't be disappointed.
