The Rampage was designed to be an affordable rim that can withstand what ever aggressive riding can come its way. Extruded from 6061 aluminum, it is thick where it needs to be and thin where it can be to reduce weight.

Part of rigidity is being a little malleable. Cant beat price.

MECHANIC SPECIAL

I bought a Lhd rampage cassette as well as just a 20in "Rampage" rim. Laced rim to profile mini and for the price cant complain. Retighten/Loosen spokes. +Stomp Straighten every once in a while..... u b all gucci if u know what ur doing and ballin onna budget THIS IS for you. I can get the wheel almost perfect most times so its not like its terrible.....BUT

If you dont expect to have to DO a lil Percussive Maintenance here and there .... get a dif set up. U'LL SAVE MONEY HERE.... BUT, IN EXCHANGE FOR TIME. If u want sum to never work on or Nvr come loose this shit is NOT for you lol.

Edit cus u cant. It takes a beating ive practically tacod it. I bent it back (which was AIDS to do) but after some time cant even tell ive bent it back n shit over and over its still a SOLID FKN RIM just needs a little love after u beat her dass all [-v-]

I have now built 2 new 29-inch wheels using these rims. They are wider! And double walled for strength...They laced up pretty true and needed little work to get them straight and round. The rim brakes needed wider adjustment but that is a small detail. They only needed to get out by 1/8 inch on either side.

I plan on getting another set of these 26-inch rims to build up for my bomber...They are sturdy as heck...and they come with a tough looking rim strip. All you need are the right length spokes and a decent hub...
