SRAM Butter Grease Description:

SRAM Butter Grease is a specially formulated grease that will allow suspension components and dropper seatpost to operate as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Crafted in collaboration with the friction fighting specialists at Slickoleum, this grease adheres to metal surfaces and resists washing away when encountering inclement weather. Thanks to the advanced friction fighting properties, seals and o-rings will slide easily over moving parts, greatly reducing stiction and leaving a buttery smooth performance that allows for finer adjustments to be made to optimize the performance of the component. Whether it is used within a suspension fork, a rear shock, a dropper seatpost, or even on the seals within a hub, SRAM's Butter Grease will ensure your bike is performing at its best.

Features:

  • Friction reducing grease developed in partnership with the friction reducing specialists at Slickoleum
  • Designed to cling to metal parts, the special formulation greatly reduces friction between seals and moving parts, resulting in much smoother and less sticky feeling suspension travel
  • Highly weather resistant to prevent washing away in nasty weather conditions, and the formulation is safe for use with seals, elastomers, and O rings
  • SRAM recommends using this when servicing Double Time Hubs & Wheels, XX, X0, Roam, and Rise wheel rear hub pawls as well as RockShox forks, rear shocks, and Reverb dropper seat posts
  • Available in a 20ml syringe for pin point application of the lubricant as well as larger 1oz and 500ml containers when working on more bikes and/or larger maintenance projects
