The Silca 3D-Printed Titanium Mountain Cleats utilizes advanced materials and manufacturing techniques to develop a set of very lightweight, yet durable cleats. 3D-printed 6AL/4V titanium with an internal lattice structure cuts out a lot of unnecessary material which produces a significant weight reduction (compared to brass cleats) and maintains the strength and stiffness needed to deliver repeatable performance and up to 4x the lifespan of brass cleats. Finally, these titanium cleats include titanium mounting hardware, and everything is proudly manufactured in the USA at Silca's Indianapolis, Indiana facility.
Pro Tip: Apply a little bit of grease to the threads and under the head of each of the bolts and torque the bolts to 6Nm - 10Nm (the higher torque rating may be needed for carbon fiber and other hard shoe soles). Also, especially with harder soles, it is recommended to re-tightening the cleats after 24 hours or your first ride due to cleats settling into the sole of the shoe.
