The Shimano TL-FC41 Direct Mount Chainring Locking Tool is designed to install the Shimano direct mount chainring lockring onto Shimano mountain bike cranksets. This tool is precisely manufactured to fit tightly over Hollowtech II bottom bracket spindles and onto the lockring, and features a splined pattern as well as a 32mm hexagonal section so it is easy to pair this lockring tool with something that can provide the leverage to torque on the lockring. Last but certainly not least, hardened steel construction means that this tool will hold up to the use and abuse from weekend bike mechanics and busy bike shops.
