The Ride Concepts Hellion Elite Boa Flat Pedal Shoes deliver exceptional comfort, performance, and protection for all-mountain, enduro, and downhill/gravity-fueled mountain biking. A rugged Cordura upper with an asymmetrical ankle cuff, fully gusseted tongue, integrated D30 pads, and molded KPU ramparts all add up to improve durability and protect the rider's feet from rock strikes, overhanging foliage, and other impacts. Dual BOA fit systems with a wraparound upper design deliver precise tweaks to the security and fit of the shoe and can be adjusted on the fly. Inside, an EVA midsole and a D30 insole protect the feet from heavy landing impacts and reduce energy robbing shock and impacts so the feet feel good all ride long. Beneath everything, a stiff sole makes sure more of the power is transferred to the pedals and prevents numbness and tingling in the toes caused by too much foot flex around the pedals, and a sticky rubber sole with a hexagonal tread pattern grips the pedal surface and provides traction when maneuvering off the bike.
