Rant Spring II U-Brake Kit Description:

The Rant Spring II U-Brake Kit includes everything you need to bring your ride to a halt excluding the brake studs. It includes the revised Spring II brake with clearance for tires up to 2.5" wide, Spring lever and Spring Linear cable, all for a price cheaper than buying them individually. (11.4 oz)

Note: If your frame has removable brake mounts, you must already have those mounts or purchase them separately in order to use this kit.

These are great. Nothing really to complain about them. I’m no brake expert. But I have used different brands over my 15 years of riding. And I think for the price and what you get the Rant Spring Lever 2 is the way to go. Yea there parts are priced cheap, but that doesn’t mean that their quality is cheap. Great job Rant!

Rant Spring II U-Brake Kit (Black) (Rear)
Great set up for the price. The only problem i had was the hole through the brake cable hanger wasn't drilled all the way, so I had to finish drilling it to pass the main cable through to bolt to the shorter cable in the back. After that these brakes install easy and work really well. I'm grabbing another set for the stolen brand frame build I'm doing.
