Used these to replace the pads that came with a U Brake kit I installed. Before there was no stopping power at all. Now I have to feather the brakes to keep from locking them up. Definitely a huge upgrade and would highly recommend them.

These are the loudest brakes you can ever have and I love them its these brakes or no brakes. When going city riding these are nice because it's like a horn to have people pay attention but they are super loud so be careful at night time you might piss someone off.

Odyssey makes some of the best products in BMX. These pad will stop your bike on a dime. They do chatter & squeak when you apply the brake pretty loud. I like the squeak, lets people know they just got in your way when running a line.

These things are obnoxiously loud but they grab the heck out of ANY rim painted or chrome. The noise is comparable to a small air horn so if you're trying to be stealthy these aren't the right pads.

If you need pads that will lock the rear tire on command or if you want a horn on your bike then nothing will beat these.

My complete came with black wheels and black pads, which worked fine, but seeing so many riders running these pads made me throw a set on. Hands down the strongest brakes I've ever had on a bike. Coming from old school side pull brakes, I spent a bit of time adjusting to the strength of U brakes, and now I've got to adapt once again. Worth the change so far.

Good stop on black rims. They do make some noise, But I think all pads do. Little high 8.99, that's why I give it 4 stars.
