Kink Drifter 26" BMX Bike Description:

The 2027 Kink Drifter 26" BMX Bike is perfect for BMX riders, or former riders who want a more comfortable ride while still staying true to their BMX roots. It’s essentially a traditional freestyle bike, but built on 26" wheels to offer a faster, smoother, and more relaxed ride. Constructed with durability in mind, the Drifter uses 4130 chromoly for the frame, forks, bars, and cranks, and features fully sealed bearings throughout. Kink 2027 Drifter 26" BMX Bike (22.25" Toptube) (Fern Green)
Frame showed up scratched but dans comp took care of me. One of the things I’ve noticed with Dan’s comp, though since they’ve gotten bigger and are no longer based out of Indiana. When you buy stuff online, you never know how long it’s gonna take to get it. I ordered a gang of parts to go with this bike and when I receive the bike, I tore it down to rebuild it anticipating the parts would arrive soon. It’s been almost 2 weeks and the parts are finally showing up today. Still a great shop good customer service but it just used to be different and given that I live in Illinois and they were based out of Indiana. Everything showed up so fast back then. Also old-school Dan Comp always gave you a free T-shirt when you bought a complete bike. I guess it’s just the price of growth. One other thing that is not Dan’s comp related. This is a KINK issue. The seat post is a pivotal, but it does not have the hole in the top of the seat. It just has a set screw underneath the seat on seat post. Mine came from the factory and had been over torque so hard that I literally had to use a cheater bar to try to loosen it to adjust the seat when doing that it snap the Alan bolt set screw. I called kink and they are sending me a new seat and seat post.
