1. What got you in to BMX? Was there a certain rider, event, video, friend, etc that made you want to try BMX? Tell us a little bit of your story of how you got to this point.
I was introduced to BMX when I was like 7 or 8 through my uncle Jim Rosenthal, who bought me my first BMX bike and would take me to skateparks. I would say my love for BMX really started when I met friends from school that were also into BMX and started hitting up the local park in Dowagiac everyday. We had a very solid crew of friends that would practically live at the park (shout out Dakota, Devan, Hank, Brandon, Link, Zane, and all the other homies lol).
We were blessed to be pretty close to The Kitchen Skatepark, so we all started riding there which took our riding to whole other level. Shout out Brett Banasiewicz and all his family that ran the park, I wouldn’t be half the rider I am without that place. I then was lucky enough to start doing some shows and traveling, so that is what I’m doing full time now just riding every single day.
What are your proudest accomplishments or best memories made on a bike? This could be tricks learned, contest results, places traveled, etc.
A great BMX memory was road tripping from Michigan down to Florida and back for Swampfest a few years back with my homie Dakota Lampert. It was my first time back on my bike after 6 weeks off because of a broken wrist and we hit every park we could on the way down and on the way back. Swampfest ended up being the best time as it always is, met up with a bunch of homies down there and managed to film a chill video documenting the trip.
3. Why do you love BMX so much?
I love BMX because of the challenge and the community. There’s something special about overcoming the fear of a new trick or helping a friend overcome their fear of a new trick. I love the satisfaction of landing a trick that you have to work for both physically and mentally.

4. Where’s the coolest or most memorable places you’ve ridden?
Main one that comes to mind has to be Woodward East, since it was always a dream place to go when I was younger. Recently I spent a lot of time in NYC and really enjoyed riding all the random parks around the city, foster bike park aka mullaly. Hands down The Kitchen Skatepark was my favorite place to ride though!
5. What trick was the hardest for you to learn? And/or, what’s a trick that you can do but struggle with or simply don’t like?
360 tuck no-handers and my arch nemesis, I retired from trying them years back because I could never truly figure them out. But the trick that I do that is the hardest would have to be 360 windshield wiper, it definitely takes a lot of effort and for me doesn’t work out 100% of the time but is very rewarding when it does.

6. Do you have any bucket list spots to ride or tricks to learn?
All the SoCal spots and parks are definitely on the bucket list. The biggest one would have to be Montpellier, France for one of the FISE events, they always seem like so much fun.
