DK Vega SS 22" Frame Description:

The DK Vega SS Frame is built for 22" wheels with a modern feel and clean lines. It features a 21.75” or 22.125” top tube, 74° head tube, and a tall 10.25” stand-over for a balanced, stable ride. The 13.75” slammed rear end and 12.4” BB height keep things responsive without being twitchy. Constructed from butted, tapered 4130 Chromoly tubing with an offset Eclipse downtube, it’s tough without the bulk. Details include a 4.6” CNC-machined head tube, integrated seat post clamp, removable brake mounts, and CNC 14mm dropouts with built-in tensioners.

DK Vega SS 22" Frame (ED Black) (22.125")
Absolutely love this 22". Prior to this I had a Fit22 2024 model and it basically blew up on me; front and rear hubs blew out, began to knock on me, forks bent, and I didn't like the rear end. It sat torn down on the shelf, and salvaged for parts, for almost 2 years, after a handful of rides. Being a bit older and taller, 38 6'1", I'd been riding larger bikes for almost a decade (26 then 24), but I finally decided to give the 22" wheels another try; I grabbed this frame and built it up to my hearts desire. I've managed to slam the rear, which was a major problem I've noticed with 22's, as they just don't mimic the 20" feel, which has made it feel super tight and nimble. The low BB and longer TT is absolutely perfect for me. The frame offers such a planted feel, and with riding a higher bar, lower rake fork, and shorter crank arms, this thing makes for such an awesome ride. Quality of the frame is top notch, can't get any better, full-chromoly, and super clean looking. I can't say anything bad about this frame.
