DK "Golf" Bike Flight Bag (Camo/Black)
I decided to try out a DK golf bag after getting hit with a big oversized baggage charge when flying with a conventional hard plastic bike case. The idea of disguising a bike as a set of golf clubs is tempting, but I have a cruiser, and the bag ended up looking like a surfboard when I was done packing, even though I put the front wheel in a separate piece of luggage. This is no fault of the bag - There's just no way to hide a 24" wheel. I managed to pay normal baggage on my way out, but on the return flight the gate agent instantly got pissed when she saw the bag, and charged me a $140 excess baggage fee.

I think the bag would work ok with a 20" bike, since it would not be as flat looking. If I travel with it again, I'll take both wheels off and pack in separate case. The bag may look more like a golf bag without the wheels in it.

I contacted DK prior to purchase for packing tips. they were helpful and sent a link to a video. Remove pedals, front wheel, bars and forks and it fits easily in the bag.

Bottom line: there's no guarantee that it will pass as a golf bag, but it's worth a try. Also, if curbside luggage check is available, use that and slip the agent a tip. Bag is reasonably durable and padded, but had a small tear in it after 1 trip, so 4 stars.
