Welcome to the Dan's Comp Pro Team: Dan Kruk

1) What's up, Dan?! Welcome to the Pro team. How did it feel when you first got the call?

When I first got the call I was super stoked. It has been a dream of mine to be Pro for Dan's Comp since I was circling parts in the catalog as a kid.

2) We officially met you back in 2015-2016 during a Dan's Comp parking lot jam. You even made a stop at one of our skatepark tours. How have things changed from then to now in your riding career?

A lot of things have changed since then. New sponsors, signature products and countless video parts. The only thing that hasn’t changed is how much fun I have while riding these little bikes.

3) You have been riding a new prototype Rixin frame. Can you tell us a little about that?

The Rixin frame I have been riding is actually a prototype of my new signature Subie frame. I don’t want to spoil too much but just know it’s super short and responsive. We’ve added some details that I’ve never seen on a frame before and I think a lot of people will be stoked on it.

4) You're well known for your massive POP out of grinds (see Dan's welcome video below). What is your secret?

I think the secret has always been the forward bars haha. Hate it or love it, that bar position feels right to me and I’m sticking to it!

5) When watching a video part, everyone sees the victories, but not the struggles. What's one trick that just bugs you to this day?

When I’m filming I try to make the trick I’m trying super complicated or else I’m not happy with it. So I think every trick bothers me to be honest. There have been so many I’ve battled for 3+ hours on multiple occasions that I never landed.

6) This year (2026) marks Dan's Comp's 40th anniversary. What are you looking forward to in the future?

For 2026 I am looking forward to getting on some trips with the team and to show people the all of the reasons why Dan’s has been around for so long. Ran by BMX riders, for BMX riders. What’s better than that?!

Plus, in 2026 the Dan's Comp socks are back and I think people need to celebrate that accolade on its own haha.
