The Black Ops DW1.1 wheels (aka MX1100) are great for someone looking for that old to mid-school look, or who needs a set of basic 3/8" wheels. With 14mm 9T rear wheels being the current standard for so long, it's difficult to find a decent set of 3/8" sealed freewheel wheels for a reasonable price to get an older bike going again.

The high flange Black Ops MX1100 hubs are threaded for a 16-22T freewheel and feature sealed bearings with 3/8" chromoly axles. They're laced to 36H Black Ops double-wall rims with stainless steel spokes and brass nipples.

Black Ops Wheels do not include rim strips

Very nice rims better than expected. They didn't have black spokes but the silver was just fine for my application. I put them on my mtb knowing that they were not laced for a 7-speed cassette worked ok but rim was to off center put a 5-speed on with spacers on other side works perfect. Might relace them later but for now perfect. Will recommend you to anyone who needs good quality rims. Thank you

A nice wheelset at reasonable price to complete a frame build when you're trying to keep the build cost manageable.
