The Black Ops DW1.1 wheels (aka MX1100) are great for someone looking for that old to mid-school look, or who needs a set of basic 3/8" wheels. With 14mm 9T rear wheels being the current standard for so long, it's difficult to find a decent set of 3/8" sealed freewheel wheels for a reasonable price to get an older bike going again.

The high flange Black Ops MX1100 hubs are threaded for a 16-22T freewheel and feature sealed bearings with 3/8" chromoly axles. They're laced to 36H Black Ops double-wall rims with stainless steel spokes and brass nipples.

Black Ops Wheels do not include rim strips

I’m old-school BMX from way back. It’s nice to get online in order what you want instead of paddle on your butt down to the store. It’s probably all the way across town and your parents had no idea where you were, but it all worked out didn’t it. I road BMX in 35 years got a hair up my butt and decided to build an old school GT I found online the rims I bought from Dan comp are awesome and so are all the other miscellaneous items. Unfortunately, I’m in the grips of winter here. It might be a minute before I get to dirty up the tires

Dans comp bmx is a great source for parts and great technical advice. Any time I have reached out for information they take the time and give great feedback with no feeling as if you are bothering them. Delivery is fast also. I live in Jersey and I receive my packages sometimes faster than places that have been closer. Thanks again and you will here from me much more in future builds.

These wheels are a Great Deal. Super nice hubs and bearings, super nice set of spokes, and great double wall rims. I'm just an old guy (45) who built just his first BMX bike in about 30 years or so. As a machinist and former BMX basher this is a great value. Mark

I haven’t got these wheels but looking at them the bearings are exposed and that’s a red flag right there but I might get them anyway and see how they ride I got a good deal on a ride and black frame for only 100$ rn so I’ll let y’all know if I do end up getting them
