Animal Sherman Front hub Description:
The Animal Sherman Front Hub takes the classic flangeless hub design and refines it for modern street riding. While it’s new to the public, the hub has actually been tested for years through prototype and sample versions that were put through serious real-world abuse before reaching its final form.
Built with a 7075 aluminum flangeless shell, the Sherman uses standard J-bend spokes that lace from the inside and naturally align with the rim for a strong wheel build. It’s designed to be laced 4-cross only, with 192mm spokes recommended. To solve the common issues found in older flangeless hubs, Animal upgraded the axle system with a larger hardened chromoly female axle featuring a shoulder stop, preventing the free-floating movement and mushroomed axle ends that plagued earlier designs.
The hub runs on sealed bearings, uses 3/8” female bolts, and includes two replaceable nylon hub guards for added protection during grinds. Finished with the signature Animal Tank Badge, the Sherman Front Hub is a simple, tough, and reliable piece of hardware built to handle heavy street riding.
