WTP 2023 Reason BMX Bike Description:
The 2023 We The People Reason BMX Bike is set up to ruthlessly slay technical street lines right out of the box. Featuring a freecoaster, the Reason has no issue with fakies or fakie manuals to connect lines. The full chromoly fork is constructed with a 15mm offset meaning that nose-manualing is also a breeze, with enough practice of course. A strong Salt components list was used to complete the build ensuring that no matter how hard the riding gets, the Reason will keep moving forwards or backwards. Where to start? Love this bike. All chromo, solid. Short chain stays, and a steep head tube angle, make this an incredibly responsive machine. It comes with pegs and 4 hub guards, ready for street, but with its geometry can kick some butt in the park. Great set up for nose manuals. As all the WTP line, just great quality. Shorter crank arms keep from hitting back of foot on pegs. Oil slick, is matte, and its just that, slick looking. Crank protection is nice add on from factory for those who like the grinds. Budget wise you can find others less, but add in the pegs, 4 guards, sprocket guard - all things your typically going to add later - including it up front gives some savings. Only thing in wonder was why is the front wheel single wall? WTP's single wall is is strong than some cheap double walls so there is that. And how many people that arent pro do you that taco that front rim anyhow? Like none, so its a mute point. Guessing they traded the single wall so they could put the money elsewhere in the bike - like all sealed bearings. Freecoaster is also another great addition for park or street with it. Only place this bike probably doesnt do well is in dirt, its probably a mess there. But other than that overall this has everything you need, great on street, great park geometry, technically super responsive and great quality. All the prices in 2023 went up on bikes, so dont be in sticker shock.
