Tubolito 20" BMX Presta Valve Inner Tube Description:

The Tubolito Tubo 20" BMX Inner Tube is not only one of the lightest tubes available, but it's also the strongest. Made from proprietary high-tech thermoplastic elastomer, the Tubo inner tube is about 50-60% lighter, yet 2 times stronger than a standard butyl rubber tube. While the material is extremely light, the tube's 4-ply construction aids in puncture and pinch resistance.

Lighter, stronger, but also faster. While the reduced rotational weight allows you to accelerate faster, the slick material reduces friction inside the tire, allowing you to maintain that speed.

Technology comes at a price, but put in perspective, there is value in the benefits. For street and park riders, the lighter weight gives you more pop and control. And if you constantly go through tubes, it's possible the Tubo could actually save you money over time. For racers looking for every advantage on the track, it would be difficult to find one upgrade that could give you the same performance per dollar ratio as the Tubolito.
