Title MTB G1 Gyro System Description:

The Title MTB G1 Gyro System is the answer so many dirt jump riders have been looking for. This gyro system works on frames that are not drilled for gyro tabs. If you're not familiar, a gyro system allows you to spin your bars around as much as you like without the cables getting tangled. If you're a rider that does barspins and/or tailwhips, this keeps you from constantly dealing with tangled cables.

Be sure to see the info below to figure out which size will work on your bike.

Features:

  • MTB specific gyro
  • Made in Canada from domestic 6061 T6 machined aluminum
  • Low friction / high wear resistance machined delrin bushing
  • Two sizes available (dependent on outside diameter of head tube)
  • Available as a full system or gyro only

Size Small:

  • Head tube outside diameter must be 54mm or less
  • We recommended use with frames that use a press-in headset top cup. This will prevent any compatibility issues from using the G1 with different gyro tabs
  • If your frame does not use a press in top cup, you can use gyro tabs that line up with the bottom of the small G1 (69mm) however, gyro tabs are not included and may need to be customized to align with the width of the bottom of the gyro. Using a Vernier Caliper is the best way to measure
  • Steer tube must have 20mm of extra length

Size Large:

  • Head tube outside diameter must be 54mm or greater
  • We recommended use with frames that use a press-in headset top cup. This will prevent any compatibility issues from using the G1 with different gyro tabs
  • If your frame does not use a press in top cup, you can use gyro tabs that line up with the bottom of the large G1 (74mm) however, gyro tabs are not included and may need to be customized to align with the width of the bottom of the gyro. Using a Vernier Caliper is the best way to measure
  • Steer tube must have 20mm of extra length

Title MTB G1 Gyro Brake System (Small)
So far no issues. Extremely smooth! I installed it on a Specialized P3 dirt jumper. I went with an Avid road brake caliper and an Odyssey unilever medium size. And a bmx upper gyro cable. I had ordered the Title brake lever but the pull ratio wouldn’t let the brake caliper release. I would recommend using a bmx lever.
