It's very light, sit tight under your pants, so if you want to make some chill crank flips and be aware of your shins - this is your choice.
For learning whips/big jumps, I think, this shin guard can't protect you enough.

I must say it’s really good a very protective. It also hides very well under most pants. The only negative thing I would say, it’s not easy to get it off your leg!
