at first, I was a little upset with this product, they wouldn't seem to stay in my bars and would slowly slip out. After playing around with them I was able to get them to tighten properly, and they seemed to engage. not like typical bar ends but with the new design if you are lighter on your bike with falling, these might stay in better for you.
