Subrosa Malum DTT 29" Bike (23.5" Toptube) (Black)
I have to say this was the worst experience that I have been through trying to buy a bike. First the bike shows up with a nice size dent in the headset cup of the frame and a small crack running up it, the downtube gusset had a spit and the welds were the worst I've seen on a BMX bike. Dans Comp sent me this bike like that and they don't even have the decency to refund me the shipping. So I'm out $132.00 now because they don't refund shipping. If it got sent out busted like that why is it my fault, why do I have to pay for the shipping? Totally bogus. Crap Bike. Stear Clear of this bike and this Box Store.

Subrosa Malum DTT 29" Bike (23.5" Toptube) (Black)
This bike is amazing! I also have the 26” which is also rad AF! This thing is solid and not cheap at all. I use the 26” with an electric front wheel and it rides smooth and safe. As for the other review…..I’m guessing the tires were over inflated, causing the flats?

Subrosa Malum DTT 29" Bike (23.5" Toptube) (Black)
Greetings, the Subrosa Malum arrived with some frame scratches on the frame and the box was open when it came off the FED Ex truck. I took my 3 bikes that I order from Dans comp to a local bike shop for professional assembly. The seat post and seat post clamp appeared defective as my seat post was all scratched up and nicked. The rear wheel was making a weird noise as if a bearing was missing - like a knocking sound. I took the Subrosa back to the bike shop for evaluation and the master technician resolved that. I also notified Dans Comp - Derek of the Subrosa mishaps and he contacted the master technician at the bike shop to confirm the issues I was experiencing. Derek from Dans Comp sent me a replacement seatpost as the Subrosa Malum seatpost was defective. The inner tubes in all 3 bikes appear to be the cheapest and thinnest bike tubes ever. I already. It hasn’t been a full week and each bike has a flat. As soon as I got home with the 3 bikes, my wife and I took the bikes for a test ride out of our garage and around the block. We both had a flat on each bike and my 3rd bike I did a bunny hop and landed nicely and softly and within seconds of landing I felt the tire deflate. With all the technology and advancement in bikes and everything else, I feel that the bike industry would have developed thicker Pierce resistant tubing or inner tire piercing liners if that makes sense. There is no way I spent more than $1900 on 3 bikes and within a week get a flat on each bike. I do not ride on rocks, wood chips, gravel or areas that do not appear to be suitable for a smooth ride. I will not purchase another Subrosa as the bike looks and feels cheap compared to the construction of the DK Cygnus I purchased and other bike frames I’ve owned. That is my review team. I can honestly say I am not happy with the Subrosa frame at all. I would compare the construction quality of the Subrosa to huffy or a Murray bicycle, even a Kent frame from Walmart.
