The Rant Spring brake lever is made from die cast aluminum featuring a slim 2 finger design and hinged handlebar clamp for easy installation. (3.0 oz)

Note: This lever does not have a spring in it. Its return is actuated by the u-brake. Rant has simply named these using the term "spring" and has a "Spring" line including levers and u-brakes.

Tried to bend for clearance on some cut bars,

Instantly snapped. Looks to made from zamak. (used in die cast toys)

Worked fine before that, just a heads up before buying.

This lever works great for what I needed it for. It is cheap and hinged! And it works great with my disc brakes on my gyro’d dirt jumper
