The Merritt GFE PC peg is Brandon Begin's signature model featuring a proprietary PA blended plastic outer sleeve, pressed over a 4140 chromoly core for strength and durability. The sleeve itself is removable and replaceable once worn, and incorporates a molded steel washer that helps prevent the peg and wheel from shifting in the dropout. Sold Individually.

These pegs Look great, feel great, and are great. I love the colors they come in. They also slide super well. I like the idea that they did with making the core a little skinnier to fit a bigger sleeve, but that leads to my 1 complaint about this peg. The core is so skinny, my socket barely fits inside. This concerns me because if the end of the peg slams into a ledge or something and the tip of it bends in, the socket won't fit anymore. But I don't think it'll be a problem because Brandon Begin shreds and he doesn't seem to have that problem. I've heard of people complaining about that same thing, but I haven't heard anyone who's actually had this experience with this peg. And I guess even if it does happen, the pegs are $22 each, which isn't too much. But yeah overall, I highly recommend this peg! I love the 4.75 length too. Locks you into grinds so well. But yeah like I said, great peg! 9/10!
