GT 2021 La Bomba Rigid 26" DJ Bike (22.2" Toptube) (Mystic Red)
I received my bike faster than expected and it’s a perfect fit for my son. When I received the bike I went through everything to make sure all the fittings were appropriately tight. The only thing that I didn’t check was the bottom bracket because at the time I did not have a tool for that. We were out on trail twice and the outer threaded play started to work it’s way loose. I attempted to tightened it and thought it was completely secure and fixed. I want to find out that The entire bearing assembly on the non-drive side had come apart internally. After getting home and taking it apart I took numerous pictures of the process and was able to send them to a gentleman named David E at Nashbar. David was super helpful and upon seeing the photos I said to him expedited me a new Odyssey bottom bracket as a replacement. I would absolutely buy another bike from Nashbar. Even with the issues I encountered I felt like they did everything to make it right for me and my son.

GT 2021 La Bomba Rigid 26" DJ Bike (22.2" Toptube) (Mystic Red)
My teenager and my birthdays are around the same time, and I got him the La Bomba Pro but they only had one in stock so I got myself the rigid. I'm planning on upgrading the fork to something with suspension (probably Circus Elite), but man this thing rides great as-is. It's my first rigid frame (other than road bikes; I never rode BMX or anything, went from enduro to this) and I didn't expect to have as much fun on it as I have had. It handles jumps well, and tears it up on the pump track.

If you're in the market, I think the La Bomba (pro or not) is a great option. Also I hadn't ordered from Dan's Comp prior to this and they are awesome. Did a good job of setting things up before shipping the bike out (you have to do a few minor things like install pedals, seat tube, etc.). Tires were even pumped and ready to ride when it arrived. And shipping was fast. I couldn't be happier and this thing keeps putting a smile on my face.
