For an affordable peg, these are absolutely worth it. I bought the purple ones about 3 weeks ago, and they've been incredibly durable. They're lightweight, which was a welcome change to my bike. Previously I was running the Odyssey MPEGS, and being full chromoly pegs, they had some serious weight to them. I know these are an aluminum core, but I'm also not a rider who's hitting the biggest and hardest drops, so the lightweight core is perfectly fine. The 4.8" width was a welcome change as well. I wear a size 11 shoe, and my foot is fairly wide, so stepping out onto these gave me plenty of room. Initially, I was a bit concerned about the increased diameter over my previous pegs, as I run a fairly short chainstay (13.2"), and I'd gotten hung up on my previous pegs, but I haven't noticed that issue with these.

All in all, these are 100% best bang for the buck, and if you're in the market for sleeved pegs but unsure about them being right for you, these are an excellent step into that world. I highly recommend them to anyone!
