DK Swift Pro BMX Bike (20.75" Toptube) (Purple)
A ripoff is what this bike is!! For one, there were tons of paint scratched off on bars where packed well, meaning it occured during company assembly.. 2nd the fork drop in and back wheel holes are 2 diff sizes, so standard BMX wheels won't fit like cinema zx! The hubs are horrid, the bars paint chips off from any touch, the brake line clips came off already, cranks cheap and bolts are cheapest I've ever seen and already stripped! Huge problem, seat has no post and is sitting inside hole which means this bike only fits kids under 4 ft!! This was Not posted in info. The seat is permanently attached to the short 6 inch post, standard for ALL other bikes is 13 inches at minimum but this is beyond ridiculous. I am only 5ft 4 and cannot ride this bike without my knees touching into chest, it's that low.The bigger issue now is my crank bolts are stripped due to being super cheap and manufacturing painting over the bolts. I used a torque wrench to try to loosen the lock bolt but it stripped, both did! I Now have to buy an angle grinder to saw odd the crank. I bought this knowing the crank and hubs suck but the company sealed the crank so it can't be changed, I have never seen this before. I was planning to use my 2 cinema zx wheels with schwalbw big apple tires but the drop in holes in the rear are too small and the gap for the wheel is too small for a standard 20 inch wheel! If this bike is for kids , it wasn't specified at all. I don't blame Dans for the bike but for the chipped paint and overly tightened bolts is their fault. This is my 2nd mistake with a bike , I thought buying new would get me something working but no. The brakes weren't even installed straight! I haven't been able to use the bike due to this that I bought it over a month ago. Don't bother buying pre built bikes , they are a scam. This bike sadly also uses the outdated sealed euro bottom brackets too which are hard to find. Everything is cheap and not worth the price paid.
