Colony Eclipse 24" BMX Bike (22" Toptube) (Nardo Grey/Polished)
I'll start off by saying, Dan's comp has unbelievably good customer service and they were a massive help. But my bike absolutely can't run the tires included. I have a set of 2.1" Kenda tires that they sent me as a replacement that fit with haro baseline brake and a longer chain. I could only manage to get a 1.75" tire to fit with the stock configuration.

Colony Eclipse 24" BMX Bike (22" Toptube) (Nardo Grey/Polished)
I keep updating this review after finding more issues with the 24" Eclipse.

1. Bottom Bracket was bad from the get go. Danscomp sent me a free new one by Cult. It was hell to get in there but now it rides smooth. Thanks to Danscomp for good service there.

2. I do NOT like the integrated seat post clamp. Yes it works, but it seems kinda chinsy. And even if I wanted to grind it off and put a new one on there is not space on the frame to do so, so I am stuck with it.

3. I now finally see what the other reviews are talking about. There are dimples on the frame pointing into the tire. I pump my tires up to 40psi and they do not rub, but I can see if I went up to 60psi they would as there is barely a mm of space now at 40. It looks like the frame was designed for a 22" wheel.

Colony should send us all a new 22" wheel or a new narrow tire. But this should be on Colony as its design flaw on the frame.

Colony Eclipse 24" BMX Bike (22" Toptube) (Nardo Grey/Polished)
The 2.3 tires rub both the frame and brakes no mater what you do. I put a half link chain on and went as far back on the drop outs as possible and it still rubs. Colony has to be aware of this issue! The frame forks and bars are worth the price I paid for the bike so I am keeping it but buying a slightly smaller set of tires was necessary. All in all the bike is really nice but just has some parts that are horribly mismatched.

Colony Eclipse 24" BMX Bike (22" Toptube) (Nardo Grey/Polished)
First thing first you aren't going to be able to ride it once you put it together and pump up the tires. You will have to go straight to a bike shop and either buy a half link chain or a half link and have it put on. Reason being the standard chain on it will not give you clearance once you pump up the tires. The bike shop said, they sold it to you like that? But after that I really like the bike.
