The Box One 120 TPI Folding BMX Tire was created for racers who want to finish first. An extremely lightweight tire was created by utilizing Box's skin wall design and a 120 TPI casing that uses as much rubber displacing nylon as possible. Not only does this reduce weight, but it also reduces drag while increasing traction. A BMX race specific tread is employed featuring a center band providing speed and traction as well as knobbies on the sides for high grip in the corners. Pretty awesome so far? Well Box wasn't quite finished yet. The tire is comprised of a mixture of different compounds in various areas with the tread featuring a higher silica content reducing the overall weight even more.
