The Black Ops DW1.1 wheels (aka MX1100) are great for someone looking for that old to mid-school look, or who needs a set of basic 3/8" wheels. With 14mm 9T rear wheels being the current standard for so long, it's difficult to find a decent set of 3/8" sealed freewheel wheels for a reasonable price to get an older bike going again.
The high flange Black Ops MX1100 hubs are threaded for a 16-22T freewheel and feature sealed bearings with 3/8" chromoly axles. They're laced to 36H Black Ops double-wall rims with stainless steel spokes and brass nipples.

They work if you have no other options for your old school GT and you don’t want plastic. Rims were low quality and was missing a nut and but customer service was amazing. Would have been nice to have plastic caps for the side you don’t use on the rear hub……

They look sick on a 99 gt speed series would definitely recommend for any bike that has 3/8 axles can't go wrong sealed bearings and are light.just wished the came with rim stripes ,I used duck tape instead but no doubt a 5

I like. Light and spins real smooth with the sealed bearings. Looks and feels sturdy. Can’t wait to put them on my 88 DYNO PRO COMPE.
