Animal V4 Full Guard Sprocket (Black) (25T)
It's 7075 aluminum. 7075 is very strong but it is relatively brittle. If you attempt to force your chain on/off teeth may snap. A steel chain will always win in a fight with an aluminum sprocket. Do yourself a favor and remove/install your chain properly.
This is a nice, well made sprocket. I gave it four stars because it is not compatable with all cranks. I had to grind an angle into my crank sprocket-bolt hole because it did not sit flush. Not a huge deal but could be a deal breaker.

Animal V4 Full Guard Sprocket (Black) (28T)
Really great sprocket, just don't try and manually drive the chain onto your sprocket while your wheel is in place with a decent amount of chain tension.. no offense to the previous reviews but that was totally user failure. Really digging this coming from the 28t primo solid guard sprocket

Animal V4 Full Guard Sprocket (Black) (25T)
Really hate to say this, but this sprocket is a mess. I literally have a missing tooth after owning it for 24hrs, riding it around a parking lot, and taking my chain off a few times (without any tools, took chain off by hand with low chain tension). the kmc 510 chain i run seems to be far too strong for this sprockets teeth, as it has completely chewed them up just by removing the chain. i dunno what happened to Animal but this is not the product i expected to recieve having run Animal parts since at least 2006.
