What is your birth date? August 9th, 1983

Who are your sponsors? Odyssey, Flatware, Lotek, Red Bull, Raising Canes, and Dans Comp!

Where you from? Where are you living currently? I am was born in Hammond, Louisiana. My dream was to buy a house in this town because it is where my entire family lives. I purchased a home here last year so I do not plan on leaving anytime soon.

What year did you start riding? I started riding in 1993. I first raced BMX at my local track. I became super bored with that and ended up doing box jump shows for a local bike shop. In 1996 my life changed because I found the biggest passion in my life which is "Flatland".

What was your first bike? My first real freestyle bike was a chrome Dyno Air!

What was your first trick learned? My first trick was definitely a tail-whip. I am pretty sure I was 11 years old.

Any hobbies outside of riding? Over the past couple years I have been very interested in reading books to learn about being successful, happy, and financially free in life. I also enjoy going to the movies and hanging out with my fiance Vanessa.

What’s your typical daily routine? If I am not traveling... I wake up and try to eat a healthy breakfast. I check my e-mails and get all the work out the way. After that it is time to ride. If I am practicing for a contest I will normally get a 3 or 4 hour session in. I then relax a little, check more e-mails, and then head to subway for a meatball sub. When I return home I clean up, lay in the tub, and then watch a block buster chick flick before going to bed.

Do you have any nicknames? Some of my friends call me T.J. My uncle calls me bird man, Bobby Carter calls me Rizzle, and my sister calls me bubby.

How do you like your bike set up? I ride only a front brake, seat post really high, tires pumped to 120 psi, and of course everything is Odyssey and Flatware.

What injuries have you had? I have had a broken wrist, cracked rib, broken nose, and a snapped collar bone.

What is your worst fear? My 100% worst fear is being in an airplane crash.

Who do you look up to? Anyone that has accomplished their goals in life is a true inspiration to me.

Where is your favorite riding spot? Last year I paved a 30 by 30 foot slab in my back yard. It seriously was a dream of mine and it is the best place I have ever ridden.

What is more important to you? Big tricks or style? I would say I am way more into big tricks. Mainly because they look good in photos and they tend to interest people outside of BMX.

What is your favorite food? My favorite food is always changing. It was a meat ball sub from subway but now I think it is dried mango. mhhmmm taste so sweet.

Any famous relatives? No but I have an aunt Pickle, uncle Earl K, and a cousin named Sneeze. I am serious.

Do you have a car? I have a Scion XB. I bought the car because it is very bike friendly. Even though it looks so small it holds 5 bikes and 3 people with no problem. It has became a popular car in the flatland world and for good reason.

Any advice for the next generation of riders? Stay positive, ride hard, and keep all your dreams alive.

Anyone you would like to thank? Dans Comp, Red Bull, Odyssey, Flatware, Lotek, and Raising Canes Chicken fingers!
