1. How do I determine the reach of my stem?

Measure from the center of the fork steerer tube hole to the center of the handlebar clamping area.

2. How do I install my stem?

• Place the stem onto steerer tube.
• Insert the compression bolt through the top cap and the stem. Thread the bolt into the star nut.
• Tighten the compression bolt to remove any play from the headset bearings but allows the fork to rotate smoothly when turned side-to-side.
• Align the stem so that it is in line with the front wheel.
• Tighten the stem clamp bolts evenly to secure the stem to the steerer tube.  (Remember, it's always good to apply a little bit of grease to the stem bolts before installing them into the stem.)
