2. What are the different width chains available for my bike?

There are three different width chains available for BMX bikes. They are 3/32, 1/8 and 3/16 inch. 3/32 is the most narrow and used mainly for BMX racing. 1/8 is the most popular and works with most gear combinations. 3/16 chains are the strongest chains available but do not always work with smaller gear combinations.
